The Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Stephanie J. Jones of Texas Tech University as the second Editor in Chief of Impacting Education: Journal on Transforming Professional Practice (IE).  Dr. Jones is an Associate Professor and program coordinator for the Higher Education EdD program at Texas Tech University where she has been a faculty member since 2008.

IE's second round of publications offers the first themed section. Led by Katie Strom and Brad Porfilio of CSU-East Bay, a team of CPED Writing Fellows reflected on the June 2016 convening theme- the role of Social Justice in EdD programs.
